Description

I've been chipping away at this one in found moments. Practicing with washes & swapping dots for line work (hard to make out in small photo). I've always been a bit scared of using washes, mainly because I manage to balls them up and ruin hours of work, but practice makes...less rubbish...as they say! Plus, a little advice from a hero of mine (Sean Gordon Murphy) gave me some boundaries to work within - he told me to try and keep greys to 40% of the image. I'd say they're about 20% here, because I've tried to balance them with the shading.
