The Smith St Band rjkelders

The Smith Street Band are a folk punk outfit from Melbourne. I'd been meaning to catch one of their shows for the longest time but even when your mates share a bill with them, you can't get a ticket for love nor money. Luckily Wil Wagner (singer) did a last minute solo support for another mate's album launch so I finally got to bask in the brilliance that is these guys.
I pretty much went straight home and started sketching. In this pic you'll see references to different themes in their songs. I highly recommend you check out their music (link below).
A dear friend of mine forwarded this pic onto the band who seemed pretty stoked on it so MAYBE this will appear on a t-shirt in the not-too-distant-future. Fingers crossed!
